Our journey to creating this enchanting venue in the White Mountains of New Hampshire is as rich and diverse as the flavors of our artisanal ciders. It's a story of passion, culinary artistry, and a deep-rooted love for the natural beauty that surrounds us.

A Shared Vision and Culinary Excellence

United by their passion for culinary arts, David and Bryan pursued degrees in hotel, restaurant, and culinary education at the Swiss Hotel Association in Bluche-Crans Montana, Switzerland. Their careers took them around the globe, working in prestigious locations such as Interlaken, Zurich, Prague, Atlanta, Orlando, Charlotte, Boston, and New York City.


Their experiences ranged from serving at international events like the Oscars, Olympics, US Open Golf & Tennis, to the NFL, gathering a wealth of inspiration and expertise along the way.

The Birth of Notch View Cidery

With a dream to create a venue that embodies their love for hospitality, exceptional food, and the breathtaking scenery of New England, Notch View Cidery was born. Nestled in the White Mountains, our cidery is not just a testament to our journey as chefs and entrepreneurs but also an invitation to experience the beauty of nature, the art of cider making, and the joy of celebrating life's milestones.

From Swiss Alps to White Mountains

The tale of Notch View Cidery begins with two chefs, David and Bryan, whose paths crossed in the scenic wine district of the canton Valais in Switzerland. It was there, amidst the towering Alps and the vine-laden valleys, that a shared vision was born.


Chef David's culinary journey started in the bustling streets of New York City and the diverse landscapes of New England, where the world's cuisines became his playground. His passion for food was matched by his love for travel, leading him to refine his craft in places as varied as Austria, Prague, and back in the United States, from Cape Cod to Boston.



Chef Bryan's path was carved out by a love of travel instilled by his parents and a deep respect for the land learned from his grandfather, a passionate dairy and agriculture farmer. Bryan's culinary expertise was honed in the kitchens of Europe and the Southeastern United States, inspired by the farm-to-table ethos that had shaped his early life.
